In 1946 Aero Philatelist, Inc began and was served by a newsletter. In 1953 it began to publish a journal Aero Philatelist Annals as a quarterly. This continued through 1971. In 1975 the group joined the AAMS and restarted the journal twice a year as part of the APJ. The journal was discontinued in 1982. A project to scan all the Aero Philatelist Annals issues was conducted in 2017 and are available below for download.

The American Philatelic Research Library (APRL) maintains an almost complete collection of the Aero Philatelist Annals print issues. These can be borrowed from the libary. The libary also maintains an online catalog that lists most of the articles at http://catalog.stamplibrary.org
