November 3rd, 2003
- The AAMS web site received some very nice comments from Michael Mills in his Glassine Surfer column in the November issue of The American Philatelist.
- The results of the election for AAMS officers for the 2004-2005 biennium are official.
- Color illustrations from the November issue of the APJ are now available.
October 6th, 2003
- We’ve started putting color illustrations from The Airpost Journal on the web site starting with the October issue. Our goal is to have all available color pictures posted on the web site form now on.
September 18th, 2003
- The AAMS has presented a donation to the APS to help create the world’s premier Aerophilatelic Research Library in Bellefonte, PA.
- Members from 10 states, and three other countries attended the General Meeting at AIRPEX.
- A new AAMS Chapter has been formed in northern Texas. The first meeting is scheduled for October 4th.
- Auction #227 set for November 23rd is now online.
- The results for the last Mini-Poll have been posted.
- A spelling error in the U.S. Air Mail Stamp Album has been corrected.

- Auction #226 set for September 14th is now online.
July 7th, 2003
- We are pleased to announce that Volume 2 of The American Air Mail Catalogue, Sixth Edition, is now available.
- Auction #225 is now online, Get your bid in quick, it’s set for July 26th.
- 53 Members voted in the last on-line poll about an Airmail only exhibition. Not surprisingly, there was overwhelming support for this proposal.
- It’s official - the editors of the Scott Catalogues have assigned numbers C1 and C2 to the first airmail stamps issued by Great Britain in March.
- The American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors has launched a website. We encourage you to check it out at www.aape.org.
- A reminder that the AAMS Election ballot was included in the June issue of the Airpost Journal. Please show your support of the AAMS by voting and returning your ballot.
May 12th, 2003
- Your webmaster regrets the delays in updating the site. Unfortunately, life events sometimes intrude into ones’ philatelic life. We should be back to a regular schedule now.
- A tentative schedule of events for AIRPEX has been posted. Please note changes in the AIRPEX dates in September.
- Auction #224 is now online, Get your bid in quick, it’s set for May 27th.
- Great Britain issued their first airmail stamps in March.
- The United Nations and Israel have issued stamps in honor of the 100th anniversary of flight.
January 14th, 2003
- Sam Pezzillo’s article, Season’s Greetings, from the December APJ is now online) your Webmaster apologies for the delay).
- The USPS has announced that the Wright Brothers Centenary of Powered Flight stamp will be issued on May 22nd at both Dayton, Ohio and Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
- The Israeli Post Office has released the design of their Wright Brothers stamps to be issued on February 11th.
